Gallery: The Irish Flag Waves at the Municipal Center For St Patricks Day
Bethel's Irish contingency gathered to sing a song, say a prayer, enjoy a scone, and raise the Irish flag. Happy St Paddy's Day!
The Ancient Order of the Hibernians came to celebrate a grand day for the Irish, to sing the Irish National Anthem, raise the Irish flag, and parade from Barnum Square to the Clifford Hurgis Municipal Center. There the 40 or so who marched came inside to partake of homemade scones, delicious Irish soda bread, cupcakes, brownies, and a cup of coffee or tea.
