Sunken Garden Poetry Festival: Mark Doty

Don’t miss the final 2012 poetry and music event at the Sunken Garden Poetry Festival at Hill-Stead Museum on August 8 featuring world-renowned poet MARK DOTY.  Music by Danish jazz trio, Indra, at 6:15 pm, followed by poetry at 7:30 pm. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, food and wine.  Food and drinks are also available for purchase on site from Tallulah’s Catering. Handicap parking, access and restrooms available. Gates open at 4:30 pm. $5 per person, free parking. Tent on site in case of rain. Benefit pre-performance dinner and talk featuring Mark Doty 4:30-6:30; tickets $100/person, which includes festival admission. Limited space, email poetry@hillstead.org.
