Garbanzo Literary Journal

We’re having a roots-rock book-release poetry-reading, short-story-tellin’ cow-punk open-mic celebration in honor of volume one of Garbanzo

A literary journal like no other, Garbanzo seeks to open the loudspeaker of storytelling to all those who pour forth their heart and soul into the ink that longs for the page. There will be:
-- Music by local Americana, Roots Rock, Cow Punk, foot-stompin’ kids-wanna-dance-to-it band The Shoutbacks (http://www.facebook.com/Shoutbacks)
-- An open mic for any writers who have a tale to tell
-- Live and in person readings by some of the 43 authors in Garbanzo
-- Video and audio readings by other Garbanzo writers,
beamed in through time and space
-- All sorts of great literature for sale
-- Extravaganza
-- Enough fun you’ll tell others it’s a cryin’ shame they weren’t there!

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
