"Danbury's Got Talent" will hold open mike auditions at The Spot in Bethel this Saturday, July 28

 (rain date Sunday, July 29) 

1 Front Street, Bethel, CT from 3:00 - 8:00 pm.

Anyone looking to sign up for the competition could do so by attending this event ($25 registration fee minimum). 

"Danbury's Got Talent" will travel through the Greater Danbury area during the coming weeks.

Eliminations will begin in each category by early October 2012, such as:

Singing with/without accompaniment, Dancing (solo or groups), Figure Skating, Bands (any genre), Comedy, DJs and Art.

The winner will be selected by text voting in June 2013 (Place, date & time TBA) and the winner of each category will win $1,000 in cash and prizes (except Arts and
Figure Skating) .

The 1st place winners of Arts and Figure Skating will receive $250 in cash and prizes.

Winners in each category (except Arts and Figure Skating) that come in 2nd will receive $250 in cash and prizes & 3rd place will receive $100 in cash and prizes.

The 2nd and 3rd place winners of Arts and Figure Skating will receive prizes TBD. Some proceeds will go to Danbury Youth Services, D.A.W.S., and "Off the Street".

Audience recommended and free but there's a $2.00 cover charge for seats and $5.00 cover for table seating with wait staff.
