For Beginners is a Danbury-based publishing company whose focus is on presenting the works of great thinkers and subjects alike in a straightforward, accessible manner. With subjects ranging from philosophy, to politics, to art and beyond, the For Beginners series covers a range of topics in a humorous comic book-style.

In celebration of our recent publication of Jane Austen For Beginners, we are hosting a book-signing and Victorian-style High Tea on August 9th at 6pm. Invitations will go out to all Connecticut Jane Austen enthusiasts, literary critics, and people interested in our books and company.
