Bethel Cinema to Start Hosting CT Film Festival Night This Month

The latest from Bethel Cinema.

This week,  will continue to play "The Guard,"The Help," "50/50" and "Moneyball" according to owners Pamela and Ken Karpen's weekly newsletter.

Next Wednesday, the theater will be hosting a night of the CT Film Festival and will continue hold one night, per month for the festival.

This month, the two films that will be shown are "The Green" followed by "Caught." The event starts at 7 p.m. Here are the details:

"The Green" is about a gay couple who deal with homophobia of friends, neighbors and colleagues after moving from New York City to Connecticut's shoreline.

Short film "Caught" is about a girl named Hannah, who finds solace in playing softball from her dysfunctional family.
