Bethel Cinema Adds 'The Guard,' 'The Debt'

Starting tonight,  will play "The Guard" and, later next week, "The Debt," according to owners Pamela and Ken Karpen's weekly newsletter. Here are the details:

"The Guard" is a "fish-out-of-water" comedy about two policemen that join forces to take on a international drug ring. The film is rated R and is 96 minutes long. The showtimes for the upcoming week are:

  • Friday, Aug. 26 - 12:40 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 27 - 12:40 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.
  • Sunday, Aug. 28 - 12:40 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 29 - 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 30 - 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 31 - 9:40 a.m., 12:40 p.m., 3 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 1 - 5:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:40 p.m.

Thriller "The Debt" is about retired secret agents who revisit a mission from 30 years earlier. "The suspense builds in and across two different time periods, with startling action and surprising revelations." The film is rated R and is 104 minutes long. The showtimes for the upcoming week are:
