Was it something I said? How to avoid communication misunderstandings

UNDERSTAND YOUR COMMUNICATION STYLE AND THE STYLE OF OTHERS TO CREATE POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS AT HOME AND WORK

The foundation of this program is the DiSC model of self-awareness.  Each participant will be asked to take an online DISC profile.  The DISC Management profile provides nonjudgmental language for exploring behavioral issues across four primary dimensions: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness andConscientiousness.  With a better understanding of their style, individuals are able to know how and when to adapt their behavior, improve communication, promote appreciation of differences and reduce conflict.   With this understanding participants will learn to identify others’ DISC styles using behavioral cues.

Program will take place at the Bethel Chamber of Commerce located at 184 Greenwood Ave.  8:30am to 10:00am.  Coffee and Light Refreshments will be provided.
