Sacred Heart Church Provides Notable Donation to Southbury Food Bank

SACRED HEART CHURCH OF SOUTHBURY recently presented a $10,000 donation to the Southbury Food Bank. Father Joe Donnelly, pastor of Sacred Heart stated, “This donation is made from a bequest by the late Francis Brewer, a long-time parishioner. Mr. Brewer left a substantial bequest to Sacred Heart Parish ‘to be used for its work with needy families in their Outreach Programs.’

The Southbury Food Bank has been serving Southbury residents in need for more than 25 years. Located at 88 Main Street South, the Food Bank serves over 250 households each year. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Their website is www.southburyfoodbank.org.
