Reps. Carter and Scribner Host Student Art at the Capitol

On Monday, State Reps. Dan Carter (R-2) and David Scribner (R-107) visited Bethel Middle School to learn about a recent project Ms. Maureen Berescik’s sixth grade art class participated in. Each student created an illustration themed “What Does it Mean to Be from Bethel?” Three winners were selected: Isabella Donatucci, who created “P.T. Barnum Circus Horses;” Ryan Dudley, who created “Bethel Music Department is a Top 100 School District;” and Danielle Da Silva, who created “Bright Futures for Bethel Children.” The legislators presented the winners with certificates of recognition and will be displaying their artwork at the State Capitol complex in Hartford during the month of November.
