Rep. Carter to Serve as Guest Bartender at Bethel Fundraiser

State Rep. Dan Carter (R-2) will join with other Bethel community leaders to host a charity fundraiser to benefit the Scotty Fund at Stella Restaurant and Bar on September 19.

“The Scotty Fund is an amazing organization that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of sick children and their families when help is needed most,” Rep. Carter said. “All of the tips I receive as a guest bartender will go directly to helping folks in need. I invite area residents to join me for some delicious food and beverages for a worthy cause!”

The event will take place from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Stella, located at 213 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel.

Those unable to attend but would like to contribute to the Fund should visit www.scottyfund.org/sponsorship

The Scotty Fund is a 501(c) non-profit organization that aims to alleviate the financial burden associated with critically ill children, granting money to families for medical expenses, transportation needs and other ancillary costs. The group also helps families with child care, nightly meals, grocery shopping and other errands. The Scotty Fund has raised over a half million dollars to date.
