Mr. Cello to the visit the Newtown Arts Festival, Saturday, September 21

Dr. Steven Elisha, a renowned cellist, will be performing Mr. Cello stories on Saturday morning, September 21 at the Newtown Arts Festival, Fairfield Hills, Newtown.

 

Created by Dr. Elisha, Mr. Cello Stories is designed for audiences of all ages and abilities, from exceptional to special needs, combining music appreciation & performance, story-telling and creative interplay with the audience.  This program begins by exploring how sound is created on the cello, highlighted by a short musical performance demonstrating the beauty and unique qualities of the cello, while introducing musical masterpieces.

The Arts festival, which will have crafts for children and adults, music and dance performances , literature, art and food, family fun, will run from 10-6 pm, Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22. Entry is $5 a day. (Please, no dogs.)
