Attention Bethel Residents near Payne Road:

In 1996, there was an agreement formed between Danbury and Bethel to restrict the use of the land along Payne Road.  Please know that A&J Construction has submitted an application for Special Exemption/Site Plan Approval to permit “Outdoor Storage of Construction Equipment & Building Materials, & Screening of Earth Materials” (50-56 Payne Rd). 

There will be a hearing to discuss this matter on November 6th at 7:30pm at Danbury Town Hall, 155 Deer Hill Avenue, 3rd Floor.

If you are interested in learning more about this proposal for Payne Road, whether or not this exemption could then grant all business along this road a similar exemption, and how this may affect your property values, we encourage you to attend this meeting.
