Puppeteer Anna Vargas to Present "Snowmaiden" at Byrd's Books

Byrd's Books is happy to welcome back puppeteer Anna Vargas, as she performs "Snowmaiden" for two shows Sunday December 9th at 1 & 3 p.m. Registration (ages 4 and up) is required (203) 730-2973 or events@ByrdsBooks.com.

About the story: Long, long ago, in the far away land of Russia, there lived an old man and his wife. They wished and wished for a child, and one Winter's day, their wish was granted. The Snowmaiden tells the story of a wish come true and the responsibilities connected to that wish. This puppet show is for children 4yrs and older. It is a gentle, sweet story with a very important moral: through good times and bad, ultimately love saves the day

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
