Obituary: Ronald Bernard Dardis, 60, of California

Ronald Bernard Dardis

 

Ronald Bernard Dardis, age 60, passed away November 15, 2012 in Upland, California.  He was a devoted father and grandfather.

 

Ronald was born on August 20, 1952 in Stamford, Connecticut.  He loved the outdoors, making music, and sailing.

 

He is survived by his two sons: Jesse, and Luke of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren: Riley, Ethan, and Gage from Jesse and his wife Stephanie; and one on the way from Luke and his wife Lori. Ron is also survived by his fiancée, Sari Olcott of Upland, California; mother, Susan Dardis of Bethel, Connecticut; brother, Richard Dardis of Bridgeport, Connecticut; sister, Susan Carameta of Raleigh, North Carolina; sister, Shari Schiraldi of Tucson, Arizona; and ex wife, Patty Matteo of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

A visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 and will be followed by a funeral service at 4:30PM at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
