Newtown Candlelight Vigil

No Rulez MC and Dog Pound Rydaz are doing a candlelight Vigil Benefit for the Children of Sandy Hook Elementary School on Sunday, January 20th from 3PM-7PM.

No Rulez MC and Dog Pound Rydaz are doing a candlelight Vigil Benefit for the CHILDREN of Sandy Hook Elementary School on Sunday, January 20th from 3PM-7PM. The event will be held at 264 Greenwood Ave in Bethel. Candles will be $5.00 and all the money will be given to the Newtown Parent Connections. http://www.newtownparentconnection.org/

The day the tragedy happened, The President of Dog Pound Rydaz, Truth, found out about it and as soon as he came home from work, he was looking for ways to help these people. He logged onto WFSB.COM (Channel 3) and looked for areas taking donations. He came across 2 sites that were talking donations one of them being The Parent Connection. Truth then looked into what they did and then very first thing Saturday morning he was on the phone calling Donna and Dorrie (they run the parent connection).

After Truth spoke with Donna, he told her that he wanted to help with donations and that he would get local motorcycle clubs to help also. She liked his idea and said she would be very interested, so he said he would be in contact by Sunday. Truth was then in contact with Jay in No Rulez (because he had a motorcycle club in Danbury). They then decided to go to Newtown Monday to meet with Donna and Dorrie, so Monday morning we were there meeting at the Youth Center, and all came to an agreement that a month after would be a good time for a Candle Light Vigil. Truth and Jay started to plan the event from there, and they had originally wanted to do it at the Youth Center, but unfortunately due to circumstance it was too difficult, so the location was changed the location to No Rulez club house.

The event will be held this Sunday, January 20th, beginning at 3PM. We ask that anyone and everyone who wants to come out and help, it would be greatly appreciated.

"Bethel teachers are not only educating students, but when society lets kids down, it’sRead More teachers who step in to fill the gap." Explain to me how an average salary of $60,000 per year for working 183 days during that year and an EXTREMELY generous retirement package (compared to the 240 a year the rest of us have to work) considered "society letting them down"?
