WCSU names students on Dean’s List for spring 2012 semester

Keene State College has named Emily Virginia Albin,  Ethan Louis David, Tara Janelle Nathan, and Daniel John Wogksch of Bethel, Ct to the Dean's List for the spring semester 2012. 

The following local students have been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester:

David Bruckenthal a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in Accounting.

Edward Carter, of Bethel, CT, is a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Nicole Lewis, of Bethel, CT, is a member of the Class of 2014 and is majoring in Psychology.

Jonathan Whelton-Pane, of Bethel, CT, is a member of the Class of 2013 and is majoring in English/Literature Concentration.

Emily D. Andersen of Bethel, CT, was recognized at an Honors Day Ceremony at the University of Vermont earlier this spring.  She  received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences within the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences during May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont.

Andersen received the Distinguished Undergraduate Research Award presented by the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.

On Sunday, May 20, 2012, Washington College-a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in historic Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore-held its 229th commencement ceremonies.

Mallory Kahn-Johnston of Bethel, CT, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Johnston, BA, International Studies , cum laude, was recognized for academic achievements and received a diploma as a member of the Class of 2012. 

Lauren Greeney '12 of Bethel, CT, was one of 18 students and one faculty member at Eastern Connecticut State University who were inducted into the National Sociology Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Delta, on May 11. Greeney's major is Sociology.

Brandon M. Lennox of Bethel, Conn., a senior majoring in global supply chain management, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester at Clarkson University.

Mr. Raymond Alonso Pena, from Bethel, CT, graduated recently with a B.A. in Environmental Geography from Colgate University.

At the University of Rhode Island's 126th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2012,  Amanda Perfetti received a BA degree in Political Science,  and Timothy R. Conroy received a BSBA degree in Entrepreneurial Management. 

Justin Ruscoe of bethel, CT was named to the Dean's List at Florida Institute of Technology for the spring semester, which ended in May. Ruscoe is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering

Named to the Lock Haven University Spring 2012 Dean's List is Sophomore Emilie W. Langlois , a resident of Bethel, studying Social Work.

Abigail Faillace, Jessica Laflam, Mariel Westphalen of Bethel made the spring 2012 Dean's List at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn.

The following residents graduated from Marist College the weekend of May 18.Yasin Binda of Bethel, CT, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Danielle Delosreyes of Bethel, CT, received a Master of Arts degree in School Psychology.

Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its list of students that were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester.

Joseph Carillo '14 of Bethel, CT, was named to the Dean's List for the semester. Carillo is a full-time Sport & Leisure Management major.

Alex DeBruyn '15 of Bethel, CT, was named to the Dean's List for the semester. DeBruyn is a full-time Individualized major.

Sean Gentile '15 of Bethel, CT, was named to the Dean's List for the semester. Gentile is a full-time Political Science major.

Michelle Hoetjes '15 of Bethel, CT, was named to the Dean's List for the semester. Hoetjes is a full-time English and Pre-Elementary Education major.

Bryan Lehner '15 of Bethel, CT, was named to the Dean's List for the semester. Lehner is a full-time Biochemistry major.
