In this modern world of Facebook, Twitter, cell phone texting, and an entire culture of kids with the social skills of wet washcloths, it is so refreshing to read an article about a young man doing more with his life than slacking off.

It is a great responsibility to serve our Nation in the Marine Corps, and I applaud his choice. It would appear that words like integrity, honor, accountability, and selflessness are not lost on this young man.

Like I said, how refreshing!
